How May I Be Saved?
The way of salvation is based solely on God’s plan. We find it in Christ alone. Jesus, who was the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world (Revelation 13:8) was always God’s plan of salvation for the world. The only begotten Son of the Father was sent to save that which was lost (Matthew 18:11). He was not only sent by God, but he was also given by God (John 3:16). Christ put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. (Hebrews 9:26). Jesus plainly stated that he was the Way back to God. (John 14:6) God plainly stated that we are to listen to the Lord, (Matthew 17:5): and that God was giving Jesus all power in heaven and on the earth. (Matthew 28:18). The death of Christ on the cross made him our bridge back to God. His resurrection is our resurrection. This offer from your heavenly Father is a gift he freely gives to those who believe. He is calling you out of darkness and offering you the light and love of his dearly beloved Son.
A wonderful way to see salvation for yourself is to follow the Roman road which is listed below.
Romans 3:10 As it is written, there is none righteous, no, not one.
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 10:9-10 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
